Is There a Difference Between Counselling and Psychotherapy?
This causes a lot of confusion as counselling and psychotherapy can often describe a similar experience. Broadly speaking, counselling is often used to describe a particular issue that is currently happening in life for a shorter period of time. Psychotherapy is often used to describe issues that relate to events that originate in the past but are also affecting the person in their life now, and so can require deeper explorations. Psychotherapy will encourage reflection upon the thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and even dreams that are brought to the sessions. This work will aid the development of understanding and insight into the relationship between their unconscious mind and the symptoms experienced.

Online of Face to Face?
Personal therapy is conducted online. As long as you have a device with a video camera, you can use a Zoom link, which will be sent to you via email, and we’ll meet on screen. There’s no need to worry, as there's always a way to alleviate any technical concerns.
Workplace interim support and consultation is a mix of remote and in-person sessions, depending on location.
